Touch Screen Operations
To begin, tap the screen to wake up the settings menu. From here, you can easily navigate through all available options to customise your watch winding preferences. The interface is smooth and responsive, providing an effortless way to manage your watch winders.
Arbitrary Slot Selection
Select and control individual watch winders by tapping on the specific winder you want to adjust. This gives you the flexibility to personalise each setting independently, ensuring that every watch gets the attention it needs.
Stop / Start / Pause
The Stop / Pause / Start function provides full control over the winding process. Tap the “Pause” button to halt the operation, and tap “Start” to resume the cycle, giving you precise control whenever needed.
Rotation Mode
The TPD (Turns Per Day) setting controls how many times your watch is rotated within a 24-hour period. Your winder offers TPD settings ranging from 650 to 1,950, which you can select based on your watch's requirements.
The time modes—24-hour, 12-hour, and 8-hour—determine how the rotations are distributed throughout the day:
24-Hour Mode: Rotations are spread evenly across the entire day.
12-Hour Mode: The winder operates for 12 hours and remains idle for the next 12.
8-Hour Mode: The winder completes all rotations within 8 hours, then stays off for the remaining 16.
These modes help adjust how frequently your watch is wound, depending on your preference or storage habits.
Mode 1: 650 Laps Per Day
Mode 2: 750 Laps Per Day
Mode 3: 850 Laps Per Day
Mode 4: 1,000 Laps Per Day
Mode 5: 1,950 Laps Per Day
Mode 6: 2,100 Laps Per Day
The system automatically adjusts the operation cycle to match your selection. The time calculations are based on the TDP setting (10 laps per cycle), ensuring accurate winding according to the chosen mode.
Rotation Direction
Select the rotation direction for each winder, either clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on your watch’s needs. This feature ensures that each timepiece is wound properly for optimal performance.
All Mode
The All Mode function allows you to apply your selected settings to multiple winders simultaneously. Press the “All” button to apply the settings across all winders, then press "Start" to begin the bulk operation.
Light Control
The LED Lamp provides adjustable lighting to highlight your collection. Choose from three brightness levels and 48 colour options. Adjust the brightness with a tap, and long press to select your preferred colour from the full spectrum.
Remote Control
This luxury watch winder comes equipped with a premium remote control, designed for seamless and sophisticated operation. From the comfort of your seat, you can easily power the unit on or off, adjust lighting, select rotation directions, and set the desired TPD (Turns Per Day) — all without opening the case.

Maintenance & Care
Ensuring Longevity and Optimal Performance
Your Westhill Watch Box watch winder and watch safe have been crafted with premium materials and precision engineering to protect and maintain your valuable timepieces. Regular maintenance and proper care will ensure they continue to function flawlessly for years to come.
Why Regular Maintenance is Important
- Preserves Performance: Dust, debris, and improper handling can affect the motor and internal mechanisms over time.
- Prevents Damage: Proper care minimises wear on both the watch winder and your watches.
- Ensures Security: Keeping the safe and lock mechanisms in top condition enhances protection for your collection.
Essential Care & Maintenance Guidelines
Power Supply: Always use the original adapter to power the safe and winder. Using an incompatible adapter can cause electrical damage and shorten the lifespan of the unit.
Regular Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of your watch winder and safe with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For deeper cleaning, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for wood, metal, or leather surfaces (depending on your model).
Interior Care: Use a soft brush or microfibre cloth to clean the interior, ensuring no dust or debris interferes with the watch holders or winding mechanisms.
Watch Placement: Ensure your watches are securely fastened onto their pillows before inserting them into the winder. Loose watches may shift during operation and cause unnecessary wear.
Avoid Manual Interference: Never attempt to manually stop or spin the rotator while it is in motion, as this can strain the motor and damage the internal components.
Keep Away from Magnets: Place your watch winder away from strong magnetic fields, as magnets can interfere with the accuracy of automatic watches.
Humidity Control: Store your watch winder in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to condensation inside the safe or affect leather interiors. If needed, consider using silica gel packs or a dehumidifier in humid environments.
Battery Check: If your watch safe includes a fingerprint lock or electronic controls, periodically check the battery levels and replace them as needed to avoid lockout issues.
Lubrication & Inspection: While the winder is designed for long-term use, periodic inspection of the moving parts ensures smooth operation. If any unusual noises or resistance occur, consult Westhill Watch Boxes for troubleshooting assistance.
By following these maintenance steps, you will extend the life of your watch winder and safe while ensuring your watches remain in pristine condition.
Troubleshooting Guide
Quick Fixes & Solutions
Your Westhill Watch Box watch winder and watch safe have been engineered with precision and high-quality components. However, if you experience any issues, the following troubleshooting steps will help resolve common problems efficiently.
Touchscreen Issues or Flickering
- Check Power Source: Ensure you are using the original power adapter provided with your watch safe. An incompatible adapter may cause malfunctions.
- Replace Adapter if Needed: If flickering persists, try replacing the adapter with a compatible one that meets the required voltage and power specifications.
- Avoid Overloading Power Outlets: Plugging multiple high-power devices into the same outlet may cause electrical fluctuations, affecting touchscreen performance.
Fingerprint Unlock Failure
- Clean Hands & Sensor: Ensure your finger is clean, dry, and free from cuts or damage, as worn fingerprints may not register properly. Wipe the sensor with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or smudges.
- Re-Register Fingerprints: If unlocking issues persist, delete the existing fingerprint data and re-register multiple fingers to improve accuracy.
- Try Alternate Unlock Methods: If the fingerprint scanner does not respond, use the digital passcode or backup key to access the safe.
Fingerprint Lock Not Responding
- Check Battery Levels: If the fingerprint lock is unresponsive or slow, the battery may be low. Replace the batteries with high-quality, long-lasting ones to restore functionality.
- Restart the System: Remove and reinsert the batteries to perform a soft reset on the lock mechanism.
