Are your watch safes made to order?
Yes. All Westhill watch safes are individually made to order and crafted to your selected specifications. Unlike mass-produced products, every safe goes through a personalised production process to ensure the final piece is tailored specifically to your collection and requirements.
Can I customise my watch safe?
Absolutely. Our watch safes are highly customisable and can be tailored to suit your exact preferences.
Customisation options include:
- Watch winder quantities and configurations
- Drawer layouts
- Open storage sections
- Interior colours and materials
- Leather finishes
- Lighting options
- Shelving layouts
- Jewellery compartments
- Door hinge direction
- Power cable positioning

What sizes are available?
We offer a wide range of watch safes in various sizes to accommodate different collections, spaces, and storage requirements.
While almost every aspect of our watch safes can be customised, including the interior layout, watch winder configuration, drawers, materials, and finishes, the external dimensions of each model cannot be altered.

What winding functions are available?
Our watch winders include multiple rotation and winding settings to suit a wide range of automatic watches.
Rotation options include:
- Clockwise
- Counter Clockwise
- Alternating Clockwise & Counter Clockwise
The system includes multiple winding modes and touchscreen controls allowing individual watch programming, winding direction control, pause/start functions, and lighting adjustments.
Can I customise winding settings for individual watches?
Yes. Each watch winder can be individually programmed to suit the specific Turns Per Day (TDP) requirements of your watches.
What drawer configurations are available?
We offer a variety of drawer configurations designed for watches, jewellery, accessories, and valuables.
Options include:
- Multi-watch slot drawers
- Jewellery storage compartments
- Flexible accessory storage
- Open storage sections
- Custom compartment layouts
What material and finish options are available?
We offer a wide variety of interior and exterior finishes including:
- Carbon Fibre
- Piano painted finishes
- PU leather
- MDF finishes
- Plant skin leathers
- Custom leather colours
We also offer over 200 leather colour options across many models.
What watch cushions are included?
Our watch safes include two cushion styles designed for different wrist sizes.
The standard premium cushions suit wrists approximately 16.5cm and above, while optional flexible black leather cushions are available for smaller wrist sizes and compact watches.
What locking options are included?
Depending on the model, our safes can include:
- Fingerprint access
- PIN code access
- Physical key access
- Multi-point locking systems
Multiple fingerprints can also be registered for convenient multi-user access.
Can the safe be bolted down?
Yes. Bolt-down functionality is available on request for additional security.
What security rating do the safes have?
Our watch safes feature an Anti Theft B3 Rating with approximate coverage ratings of:
- Cash Rating: £6,000
- Valuables Rating: £60,000
Selected models also offer approximately 2–4 hours of fire resistance.
Does the watch safe require power?
Yes. The watch winders and lighting system require access to a standard power outlet.
The standard power entry location is at the back lower-right of the safe with a 1.5m cable, however the location can often be customised to suit your setup.
Which way does the door open?
Standard configuration opens to the right with a full 180-degree opening range.
We recommend allowing at least 145 degrees clearance for full drawer operation.
In many cases, the hinge side can also be customised depending on your installation requirements.
Is installation difficult?
No. Setup is designed to be simple and straightforward.
Once delivered:
- Position the safe
- Plug into power
- Set up your fingerprint and PIN code
An installation and user manual is included with every safe.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Tracking details will be provided where available once your shipment has been dispatched.
Can delays occur?
While we always aim to meet estimated timeframes, delays outside of our control can occasionally occur due to shipping schedules, customs processing, freight congestion, weather conditions, or port delays.
Can the safe be delivered upstairs?
This depends on the freight provider, property access, and safe size. For upstairs deliveries or difficult access locations, additional moving assistance may be required.
What if my property has difficult access?
If your property includes:
- Stairs
- Lifts
- Narrow hallways
- Tight corners
- Difficult driveway access
- Cabinetry integration
- Restricted access
We strongly recommend reviewing access conditions prior to delivery and arranging any required moving or installation assistance.
What should I do when the safe arrives?
Please inspect the packaging upon delivery before signing acceptance wherever possible.
If any damage is visible:
- Photograph the damage
- Note the issue with the delivery driver
- Contact our team immediately
What warranty is included?
Our warranty program includes:
- 2-Year Warranty for non-human damage
- Free replacement parts for up to 5 years
- Ongoing servicing support
- Continued support beyond the warranty period
Even beyond the warranty period, our team remains available to assist with replacement parts, repair guidance, and ongoing support wherever possible.
